This policy explains what personal information Unberry collects when you visit our website or buy from us, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

Unberry is a business located at 1288 Saint-Antoine Street West, Montreal, QC H3C 0X6, Canada. In this policy, "Unberry", "we" and "us" refer to that business.

3. What we collect
- Contact details: name, email address, phone number (optional).
- Shipping and billing addresses.

- Payment: payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
- Messages you send us (customer support).
- Newsletter: your email address and the date you subscribed, if you sign up to receive our emails.
- Website statistics: anonymous visit counts without cookies. We do not store your IP address, and the identifier we use changes every day, so it cannot follow you over time.
- Advertising technologies: the Meta Pixel and the TikTok Pixel, only if you accept them in our cookie banner (see section 6).
4. Why we use it
- To process and deliver your orders and subscriptions.
- To send order, shipping and subscription emails, including renewal reminders.
- To answer your questions and handle refunds.
- To prevent fraud and keep our website secure.
- To understand how our website is used, in anonymous form.
- With your consent only: to send you our newsletter. Every email includes an unsubscribe link.
- With your consent only: to measure our advertising and show you relevant ads.
- To meet our legal obligations (for example accounting and tax records).
5. Consent
We collect your information with your consent, which you give when you place an order or accept optional cookies. You can withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us at [email protected], subject to legal or contractual restrictions.
6. Cookies and similar technologies
- Essential: your cart is saved in your own browser (local storage) so it is not lost when you reload a page. We also remember your cookie choices.
- Advertising (optional): the Meta Pixel and the TikTok Pixel are loaded only after you accept them. They allow Meta and TikTok to measure the results of our ads and may involve those companies processing data about your visit.
You can change your choice at any time with the "Cookie preferences" link at the bottom of every page.
7. Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the shop, and only what they need:
- Stripe (payments and subscriptions).
- Resend (transactional emails, such as sign-in codes and order emails).
- Cloudflare (website delivery and security).
- XXX (website hosting).
- Our fulfillment partner in Montréal and shipping carriers (to deliver your orders).
- Meta and TikTok, only if you accept advertising cookies.
- Authorities, when the law requires it.
8. Where your information is stored
Your information may be stored and processed in Canada, the United States and other countries where our service providers operate. Before transferring information outside Québec, we assess whether it will be adequately protected.
9. How long we keep it
We keep your information only as long as necessary for the purposes above. Order and accounting records are kept as long as tax and accounting laws require (generally six years in Canada). Other information is deleted or anonymized when no longer needed.
10. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- access the personal information we hold about you;
- correct it if it is inaccurate or incomplete;
- withdraw your consent;
- ask us to delete it, or to stop disseminating it;
- receive it in a structured, commonly used technological format.

11. Security
We use reasonable security measures: encrypted connections (HTTPS), restricted access to our systems, and payment processing by a certified provider (Stripe). No method is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.
12. Children
Our website is not intended for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
13. Complaints
If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec or the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version. Significant changes will be announced on our website.
